Physiotherapy in a vertical bath

Vertical bath physiotherapy is one of the best and most effective way to relieve spinal pain. The following stretching exercises are being done: stretches against the wall, ladder stretches, exercises done while laying on the oblique board, using the pendulous crossbars and other. This physiotherapy takes place in a warm mineral water pool (up to 34°). It is a unique way as warm water reduces muscle tone, relaxed them and you do not feel any pain while exercising. Moreover, mineral water improves blood and lymphatic circulation, balances nervous system and strengthens immune system.

Swimming in a natural mineral water pool

„Grand SPA Lietuva“ has its own private mineral water pool. Mineral water is 8-12⁰C temperature when extracted from 230m depth and it is a natural microbiological water containing dissolved minerals. The minerals are absorbed into the body through the skin, balance nervous and strengthen immune systems as well as the cardiovascular system. Mineral water pool is heated up to 34⁰ C and we also offer you our special therapeutic programs with our highly trained professionals.

Physical therapy in the water is a great tool for exercise to people of all ages and fitness. Water affects the human body additionally, and creates specific conditions for the procedure. It is an efficient workout, because the movements have to overcome the water resistance. Also, additional physical therapy tools may be used (balls, clubs, dumbbells, water boards, etc.). Exercising in the water helps to get rid of depression, and promotes alertness. This is a great and adventurous tool to recover and improve health.
